Dori Myers was known for her bubbly personality and her warm smile. But, on January 10th, 2006, Dori vanished. That evening she'd gone to a bar in Fort Pierce, Florida to enjoy a night out with friends. She was last seen leaving with two men who claimed to be in the military. When Dori's ex-boyfriend called her about 9:30 that night at her home in Vero Beach, he heard the men's voices in the background. Dori said she'd invited them to spend the night on her sofa. About midnight, neighbors heard what sounded like an argument inside Dori's home. Then, at 3am, a neighbor called 911 to report that Dori's house was on fire. Dori's car was seen leaving the house about the time of the fire, but no one knows who was at the wheel. Dori has not been seen nor heard from since that night.

Detectives believe someone intentionally set fire to Dori's home, then kidnapped her.

Dori's car was found the next day on a boat ramp in Glades County, FL; it had been set on fire.

Dori's two pets died in the fire at her home; they were locked in a bedroom. Her parents say she would not have willingly left her pets behind.

Detectives say the two men Dori met at the bar are the prime suspects; however, no one's been able to identify them.

Dori's credit cards, bank accounts, and passport have not been used since she disappeared.

There is a $5000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Dori's killers.
