CAPTURED UNSOLVED 119
DAWN WARNER, 30
Dawn Warner was a people person who loved to help others whenever she could. She worked as a legal secretary for an accounting firm in Southfield, Michigan. But, on April 25th, 2005, Dawn's coworkers began to worry because she hadn't come in to work, and she hadn't called to say she was running late. Her coworkers called her parents, who repeatedly tried to call Dawn, but got no response at her home or on her cell phone. They persuaded the owner of Dawn's apartment complex to check on her. When he opened the door, he found Dawn, face down near her dining room. Her back and hands were covered in stab wounds. She'd been dead at least a day.
