CAPTURED UNSOLVED 121
DANIELLE IMBO, 34
On the evening of February 19, 2005, Danielle Imbo and her ex-boyfriend, Richard Petrone, went out for drinks with friends. They hung out at Abilene, a popular bar on South Street in Philadelphia. It was the last time their friends would see them. Danielle and Richard left the bar just before midnight, then they vanished. As days passed without a trace of the couple, police searched by land, water and air. At the time the couple disappeared, both were devoted parents. Family and friends say Danielle would never abandon her then 2-year-old son, and Richard wouldn't leave his teenage daughter behind.
CASE NOTES
Danielle was last seen wearing a jacket, a cream colored sweater, and blue jeans. She was carrying a black purse. Danielle has a "flowers" tattoo on her lower back.
The 2001 Black/Silver Dodge Dakota pickup truck the couple was driving has never been found.
Their credit cards and bank accounts have not been touched, and their cell phones have not been used.
Video cameras at highway toll plazas and river crossings have no record of Richard's truck passing by that night.
Detectives say there's also no evidence of a random attack.
Police brought in Danielle's estranged husband for a polygraph test, but the results were inconclusive.
