Kyle on ATRM 102: I have been true to my passion.
I don't think they should have got mad about their agents wanting them to change the name of Shaping Sound to incorporate Travis’ name. However, I do understand their concerns and worries about being excluded from the company.
I was excited for Travis when we found out he was going to be able to do a choreography submission for Madonna. Choreographing for Madonna is a huge deal. It would catapult his career into choreographing for performing artists. The submission turned out great. It was so sexy. Channing is one sexy kitty. Meee-ow!
That being said, I don't regret striking out on my own venture and going to my acting class instead of helping him with his submission. I have a tendency to over-commit myself to my friends a lot of the time. I need to start giving more of my energy to my personal endeavors. Of course that acting class was particularly embarrassing. You can tell that I’m blushing. But overall it was a great experience and I’m excited to move on to some scene work.
I have had quite an extensive dance career at this point in my life. I feel like I have been true to my passion of dance and have done projects that I find artistically gratifying, even though they may not have been the most lucrative or most publicly viewed. I don't think I have to choose between acting and dance. I feel like dance will always be there but I'm interested in making a career in acting now.
