In Battle, being a beast athlete doesn't always work in your favor. Valentina found that out the hard way on Episode 8, when Rocky eliminated her for being the biggest competition on the field. Despite her emotional last days, Valentina feels at peace about her time on Battle...but she definitely wishes she hadn't bothered with the nauseating Price of Beauty Challenge! How did you feel about getting voted off? Why do you think the other girls voted you off?
I have no hard feelings towards any of the girls for eliminating me, my purpose for being on this show was greater than the prize money. It was to show that although we are Bad Girls with horrible attitudes, we are still human. Some of us learn and grow from these experiences and turn them into something positive. I felt that the other girls voted me off because, just like Rocky said when she nominated me, I was one of the biggest physical and mental threats in the game. Week by week I proved myself, but managed to keep a low profile.
You had kind of a crazy time on All Star Battle! Can you talk about the emotions that were running through your head in those last days?
My time in the All Star Battle house was crazy mainly because of the insane challenges. The nomination and elimination process put a lot of pressure on me, but I always stayed true to myself and did what I thought I had to do to get further in the game. The days leading up to my elimination were bittersweet, however I was still proud of myself for making it that far and I managed to maintain a peaceful state of mind.
Would you have done anything differently this season, if you could go back?
I NEVER would have attempted the Price of Beauty challenge. IT SUCKED!! I was like: SO YOU MEAN I DON’T GET THE $100,000 AFTER I EAT ALL THIS S**T!!???? HELL NAWWW!
If you could have stayed on board – what could you have contributed to the competition?
I would have continued to bring positivity to the house and also continued to be a sounding board for the girls. A safe haven where they could express their fears and insecurities without judgment. And know I would have helped them look on the brighter side.
What have you been up to since filming All Star Battle Season 2?
Since All Star Battle I have been focusing on my music and continuing to build a positive brand for myself. I have also dedicated a significant amount of time to being a shoulder to lean on for my fans going through any personal or emotional struggles. Music has been a way for me to blend my Nigerian culture with my American upbringing in both a positive and creative way.
What’s next for you?
Right now I am focusing on my music and building my brand. I see the potential for greatness not only for the Bad Girls brand, but also in myself. I think that my days as a participant in this franchise are over, but my days as a host/presenter/spokesperson for this franchise has just begun. I see the positive turn in BGC, and I want to continue assisting in taking it to the next level. I am on a path of showing women it is okay to be comfortable in your own skin no matter your shape, color, ethnicity or size. WHO RUNS THE WORLD? GIRLS!
