Disturbing audio has been released of the 911 calls that came in as "Twin Peaks" actor Jeremy Lindholm assaulted his girlfriend with a baseball bat.
TMZ posted the audio Thursday, which features, first, a call from Lindholm’s then-girlfriend and, then, calls from other people witnessing the attack.
Lindholm was arrested on August 17 in Spokane, Washington after police observed him leaving the 420 Lingerie boutique where the victim worked with a baseball bat in hand. A press release posted by the Spokane Police Department stated, “August 16th 2017 at about 5:40 PM, Spokane Police responded to a local business at the 3800 block of N Division for an assault. The initial call stated that a male was at the location assaulting a female with a baseball bat.”
Lindholm’s girlfriend can be heard in the first 911 call reporting, in her words, “domestic violence.” When asked when it occurred, she calmly replies, “It’s been happening for the past four days, and I just barely got out of the house,” before saying, “I was afraid to leave.” When asked by the 911 dispatcher if she was “hit, kicked, slapped, punched,” she replies, “all of the above.” Before ending the call, she warns that Lindholm is, “very violent,” and suggests police bring “tasers and tranquilizers.”
“I need you to come NOW. He has a bat,” is how the second 911 call frantically begins, as a woman who identifies herself as the victim’s employer says the couple is having a fight inside her store. “I ran out of the store because he started yelling at me.”
The third call comes from a customer inside the lingerie store. “Some guy’s here beating up a girl,” the woman says, before exclaiming “Oh my God,” as she witnesses the abuse.
According to The Spokesman- Review, the assault was captured by surveillance cameras inside the business. It reportedly shows Lindholm striking the victim in the head and body with the baseball bat over a dozen times. He also reportedly chokes her, throws her to the ground, and jumps on top of her. The victim later told police Lindholm said he wanted to kill her.
After police arrived, Lindholm peacefully surrendered to police, and his victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Court documents allege that Lindholm told police he wanted them to shoot him in front of her, and he didn’t originally intend to hurt her. He told police he was mad at his girlfriend because she didn’t get him Kool-Aid after he told her to go to a local store.
Lindholm was arrested and charged with attempted second-degree murder and second-degree assault. According to the Daily Mail, he is still in the Spokane County Jail on $100,000 bond.
The 41-year-old actor recently appeared in the Showtime series "Twin Peaks: The Return," which chronicles the slimy underbelly of a fictional small town in the Pacific North West.
