Man Facing Potential Life Sentence After Seeking Out 'Family With Kinky Side'

The man was arrested at hotel where he thought he would be meeting a 13-year-old. Condoms and lubricant on hand, he told authorities he only went to the hotel to announce that he would NOT have sex with a minor.

An Arlington, Texas man looking for "a family with a kinky side" has been found guilty of trying to entice a minor for sex.

According to the Dallas Morning News, 32-year-old Marquis Konrad Streaty was found guilty Thursday of one count of enticement of a child.

A Homeland Security agent found an ad online in March with the title "Family Nudism?? Or more?? — m4mw." Streaty authored it. The ad stated:

"I'm looking for the Husband/Wife type of nudism by itself but also the kind that goes deeper than that — from the whole family nudism that includes sons and daughters as well or maybe it's just Mother/daughter, Dad/Daughter, Aunt/Niece, Uncle/Niece, Grandmother/Granddaughter, etc.”

Streaty described himself as “VERY, VERY discreet” in the ad. He stated he was "just looking for a family with a kinky side."

An undercover agent responded to the ad, pretending to be a man with a 13-year-old stepdaughter. According to the report, the agent wrote that his step-daughter "likes to play and might be up for a new friend."

Streaty allegedly replied, "I am interested in meeting her and you." Plans were made to meet at a hotel. According to the Star-Telegram, Streaty told the agent that age did not matter.

The agent gave Streaty a phone number that he pretended belonged to the girl. Streaty allegedly sent a nude picture and discussed sex acts.

In March, Homeland Security agents met Streaty at a hotel in Fort Worth. Streaty told the agents that he traveled to the hotel only to tell the girl's stepfather that he would not have sex with a minor. Streaty had condoms and lubricant on him, according to court documents. He was arrested at the scene.

Streaty will be sentenced in September.  He faces 10 years to life in federal prison.
