A mother who died on an Alaskan cruise ship Tuesday night was allegedly murdered by her husband during a "murder mystery dinner." The FBI released documents on Thursday that revealed Kristy Manzanares, 39, was killed by her 39-year-old husband Kenneth because she “wouldn’t stop laughing” at him. The Utah couple was supposed to be celebrating their 18th wedding anniversary. Their three teen daughters joined them on their trip aboard the Emerald Princess.

“One of the little girls from that room came running out calling for help that her parents had been in a fight. She sounded pretty desperate,” passenger Chris Ceman told Inside Edition.

According to the Associated Press, the husband tried to drag Manzanares to the balcony but was stopped. According to the FBI, the mother suffered a severe head wound. Blood was spread all about her cabin. The husband allegedly told a witness, that "she would not stop laughing at me. My life is over." Kenneth then reportedly tried to jump overboard. He was restrained by crew members.

“Because they were doing a murder mystery theater about a death on a cruise ship most people thought it was just part of the dramatic effect of what they were doing,” Passenger Vic Simpson told Inside Edition.
