The 2x4 may cost these teens big.

Don't throw the wood, if you can't do the time. Five middle school students are in trouble for throwing a “2x4” at Donald Trump's motorcade in West Palm Beach, Florida. According to CBSNews, the incident happened on Friday at around 1:45 p.m, per the Sheriff office spokeswoman.

This photo of the alleged piece of wood was tweeted by the sherrif's office:

U.S. Secret Service reported that one vehicle from Trump's motorcade was struck by a small, hard object while the President was driving along Southern Blvd. to his "Winter White House" Mar-a-Lago.

CBS 12 shared that one of the teens confessed to the crime and charges will be filed with the Palm Beach County States Attorney’s Office. Because they are minors, the identities of the teens cannot be released.
