Woman Attacks Boyfriend With Samurai Sword Because He Wasn't "Fast Enough"

That's old school.

Police in New London, Connecticut arrested a woman after she allegedly attacked her boyfriend with a “decorative Samurai-type sword,” according to CBS affiliate WFSB TV. According to the charges, 52-year-old Juanita Bentley took the sword a wall in their apartment, then cut her boyfriend on the back and arms because he “wasn’t leaving the apartment fast enough” following an argument.

The boyfriend called 911 after the attack. He was later taken to Lawrence and Memorial Hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police went to the apartment, which according to the Hartford Courant, had been cleaned in an attempt to conceal evidence of the attack. Bentley was arrested without incident and charged with first-degree assault, first-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree breach of peace. She was held through the weekend on $10,000 bail.
