New details are emerging following Fabolous' arrest for domestic abuse. The Brooklyn rapper is accused of punching Emily Bustamante, his girlfriend and mother of his children, seven times in the face, according to court documents obtained by North Jersey.com. The incident allegedly caused her severe injury and the loss of two front teeth.

Court documents state the alleged incident was caused by an interaction between the two on March 7. Fabolous (real name John Jackson) was in Los Angeles on a business trip and "became enraged" when he found out (through Instagram) that Bustamante (known as Emily B.) was in the same city. According to an affidavit of probable cause, Fabolous texted Emily that he wanted to hit her in the head with a baseball bat and that he would kill her. However,  he "did not want to go out like that."

The victim told authorities that she was scared. She then called upon her family for support. She "called her father to remove two handguns from the residence due to her fear that they may be used against her," according to the affidavit. Fabolous then confronted the victim, her brother, and father and went searching for the guns that had been removed. That reportedly caused him to make threats against the victim's family. "When he could not locate the guns, the defendant left the house, but not before informing the victim, her father and her brother that he had a bullet for them," according to court documents.

Fabolous was arrested Wednesday night for aggravated assault and making terroristic threats. He turned himself in to authorities and was released with a ticket for a future court date.

Emily B. is a stylist and was seen on the show "Love & Hip Hop: New York."  They have had an on-again, off-again relationship for several years but it's not clear if they were together during the incident or currently. On February 6, Fabolous posted a photo on Instagram of the entire family at a basketball game. He and Emily have two children together, 2-year-old Jonas Jackson and 10-year-old Johan Jackson.

Following his arrest, Fabolous' attorney told Billboard that he was shocked by the allegations of domestic abuse.

"I've known Fab close to 20 years and believe he is incapable of engaging in the alleged conduct, "said Alberto Ebanks, the rapper's attorney.
