I've only had one serious boyfriend and I've been with him for two years. How do I know if he's the one?
Where is the best place to meet guys? How do you know if your man is cheating? What if my boyfriend leaves his nail clippings on the floor? ...You asked, and professional matchmaker Natalie Clarice
What are your tips for meeting people after you graduate college?
Well my friend, this is what you need to do. Surround yourself with people who are like you. Attend events that relate to you as well as your lifestyle. Go places where you think your ideal guy may be. But most of all get out and have fun, and be patient...that is the key.
How do you feel about online dating?
Well I must say that I'm not a big fan of online dating. For me there's too big of a risk factor. If I was out there in the dating arena, I would prefer to meet the guy one-on-one, and really know exactly who he is, where he's coming from, how he looks, all of that good stuff. I'm not saying you can't meet someone special online. There's a possibility that there are good guys that go online to try to find Mrs. right just like there are good women who go online to find someone. It's about what works for you.
Where is the best place to meet a guy?
The three best places that come to mind are the gym, the grocery store, and events that are given by friends and family. The gym because many men who have careers and jobs like to work out for a couple of hours after work. That would be one of the places. Secondly I would say, events that are given by friends and family beacuse when you have good, trusted friends and family members and they invite people, you never know if Mr. right may be attending one of those. A grocery store, because single men have to prepare their own meals.
My boyfriend clips his nails on the floor, leaves his underwear everywhere and never cleans up - even when I ask. Should I dump him?
Well here's the thing: in any relationship, we must compromise. Now I can understand that becoming a bit annoying because that would annoy me. What I suggest you do is that you have a very sincere conversation with him and explain that this is an issue for you, that you're not happy and that you need him to change that aspect about him. Always remember that communications is very important. Sit him down in a serious manner, tell him that it annoys you ask him to please make some adjustments in picking up after himself. I won't say dump him just yet. Let's see after you have that sincere conversation with him. If he loves you, he will make a change. So just keep that in mind.
How do you know if your man is cheating? Are there any signs?
Oh my goodness! Yes! It's very obvious when your man is cheating. If he's MIA or a disappearing act, if he guards his phone like he's guarding his money, and if he has attitude with you for no apparent reason, and when he's around and you can see there's something on his mind -- those are the signs you need to look for. When he is cheating, believe me, we know. That feeling you're getting, 10 times out of 10, you're correct. Don't ignore that. it means something that's going on that you need to address.
Sweetheart it is so simple. First of all, he must provide you peace of mind. You must feel very at peace with him. You feel good, confident and secure in your relationship. You're confident about what you have and you don't need someone to tell you what it should be. And most of all, he complements you as a person. He adds to your lifestyle and not subtracts -- very very important. You want to make sure that you feel very good about the relationship, that you're worry-free. He has come into your life and he has made a big difference -- a good difference.
