It felt amazing winning the Glam Slam this week.
My son is the love of my life, my number one fan, and my biggest inspiration to be the best I can be. I grew up seeing my parents struggle with money and I don’t want my son to have to go through that. That is why I work hard at my career everyday so I can give him the best life possible. I wouldn’t trade it for the world. It was scary at first having a kid at such a young age, but it definitely made me kick it into gear and get my life on track. I think being a parent is the greatest thing in life cause relationships can come and go but your kid will always be your kid. And when my son says “daddy I love you,” it just melts my heart.
I really liked my licorice-inspired hairpiece and had a lot of fun doing it. It was a nice change to have kids as models. My model Skyler was awesome to work with, and she was a super cool kid. It was fun to ask them their opinion cause there’s nothing better than a kid’s imagination.
I wish we had white hair in the salon cause I had left Styrofoam uncovered on part of my piece because we did not have any, and Derek J said he liked my piece but leaving Styrofoam showing is a big no-no. It was definitely a big lesson learned.
I think I just have a flirtatious sense of humor. I’m not a promiscuous person. I guess I just get a kick out of being flirty at times. But really I just love people and enjoy putting a smile on people’s faces and if that means flirting with an old lady to make her day, so be it.
I felt great going into the Glam Slam. I was really excited for this week’s challenge and I was ready for my rematch with Cajmonet. I don’t think she should have won our first battle because her piece did not look like a Mai Tai. It looked more like a Blue Hawaiian. Since when is a Mai Tai blue and pink?
It felt amazing winning the Glam Slam this week. This was the first time I have won anything so far in the show and it makes you feel on top of the world.
