Episode 5 - Pageants and Passions
I want my sister to be happy too and right now she is not.Driving the racecar was amazing. For all the stay at home moms out there, you know what it's like when you feel like you can't disconnect from your kids and you just need an escape. This was my escape!!! My palms were sweating, my heart was racing and I was loving every minute of it!
Besides riding in a racecar, there are a few other items on my bucket list. Since I was little, I always wanted to write a children's book. That would be amazing. I would also love to write a Fashion Tips (Quick Fix) book. Ultimately what it comes down to is…I just want a happy life with my husband and my daughter.
I want my sister to be happy too and right now she is not. She deserves the best in life. If she decides to leave and follow her dreams I will support her. I just know I will miss her. I don't want her to have any regrets.
Sometimes people come in and look or ask for gowns out of their price range. They will say, "Ok I like this dress, and it's $3,000. Can you find me the same dress for $300?" It doesn't exist. But sometimes we give them the real deal to get it out of their systems.
Jennifer was an amazing girl. From the moment I met her I knew she was special. This pageant wasn't about the glitz and the crown. It was a dream of hers. I just wanted to help her make her dream come true.
When Jen won, it was surreal. I was so proud. I put a lot of hard work, dedication and time into attending her pageant. She was so nervous. I knew she was going to win. She looked amazing and she deserved it.
