Meet 'Nail'd It' Host: Adrienne Bailon
Actress, recording artist and TV personality Adrienne Bailon is the host of Oxygen’s new nail art competition series Nail’d It. She also recently added ‘entrepreneur’ to her resume, by launching her new “Fingertip Fetish” nail polish line.
Bailon also serves as a co-host on “The Real," premiering Fall 2014, marking the first Latina daytime talk show host on English language television. She first stepped into the spotlight in 1999, when she rose to fame as the lead singer of multiplatinum R&B girl group, 3LW. The group released a total of three studio albums, in addition to greatest hits album Neva Get Enuf. Following the success of 3LW, Bailon became a founding member of pop group The Cheetah Girls, starring in three successful Disney Channel Original Movies and touring the country as “Chanel.” As an actress, Bailon starred in “Coach Carter” and the independent film “I’m in Love with a Church Girl.” In addition to her starring roles in “The Cheetah Girls” films, her television credits include “That’s So Raven” and made for TV movies “All You’ve Got,” “Buffalo Dreams” and “Lovestruck: The Musical.” She also made a splash in reality TV with appearances on “Keeping up with the Kardashians," “Empire Girls,” and has also held numerous hosting roles on MTV and BET.
Grateful for her success at a young age, Bailon has always focused on giving back and being a positive role model. She continues to be an advocate for girls, and an active volunteer for a number of major causes and charities, including the Girls Scouts of America, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Make-A-Wish, Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day and City of Hope. Born in the heart of NYC’s Lower East Side, Bailon is of Puerto Rican and Ecuadorian descent.
