Nelly's Girlfriend Shantel Jackson Calls New Assault Allegations "False Claims," Says She Was With Him On Tour

"Those dates these Jane Does are claiming, I was at those venues, in the dressing rooms, and on that tour bus."

Nelly's girlfriend Shantel Jackson has spoken out about the accusations surrounding her boyfriend.

Back in October, the rapper was accused of sexually assaulting a woman on his tour bus. Prosecutors later dropped the case after the alleged victim Monique Greene refused to testify. Since then, two other women have come forward with claims that Nelly sexually assaulted them; the first Jane Doe claims that he put his hand up her dress at an after-party, while the second unnamed woman says he masturbated in front of her in a dressing room, Page Six reports.

Jackson, Nelly's longtime girlfriend, took to Instagram on Thursday to address the situation, and while she did admit that Nelly "f*cked up," she calls the recent assault allegations brought against him "false claims."

"Those dates these Jane [Does] are claiming, I was at those venues, in the dressing rooms, and on that tour bus," she continued. "There are women dealing with real issues of sexual assault and for the first time people are listening and there is a chance for real change. But all of this work is discredited and makes things harder for survivors when people lie."

Enough is Enough

Nelly has yet to comment on the latest allegations brought against him, but back in December, he denied Greene's claims, with his attorney telling Page Six, "Nelly has suffered very real damage to his reputation. He has incurred economic loss and painfully has watched his family suffer. As a result, Nelly is planning to proceed with litigation as the first step in restoring his reputation."
