Lauren Wagner has over a decade of experience working in the visual arts. Alongside Justin BUA, Wagner is a co-judge on Oxygen’s upcoming gritty, new competition series “Street Art Throwdown,” premiering on Tuesday, February 3 at 9 PM ET/PT. BUA and Wagner will guide 10 up-and-coming street artists through a series of physical challenges that will not only test their stamina and strength, but also their skills. She brings a fresh, business perspective to the show with her expertise in the planning and implementation of exhibits and visual art spaces that demonstrates there is an ability to merge the gallery and street art worlds together.
After graduating from Wagner College with a Bachelor of Science in Arts Administration, she went on to study at Johns Hopkins University to get her Master of Arts in Museum Studies. While working in Miami, she built up her clientele to over 60 of the city's most talented artists across various galleries and exhibitions. In 2012, Wagner switched to the profitable art market of Manhattan where she continues to broaden her experiences in the arts, while simultaneously working with artists to help them take vital steps towards advancing their careers. With a deep interest in pop and urban art, Wagner has a unique ability to build intelligent and up-and-coming collections for her clients and galleries.
