Way before Ron Gibson was ever a bishop, he was a gun-toting gangster in the hard streets of Compton. His troubled past, including the tragic death of his father, made Gibson turn to gang life as a way of survival and a means to protect his seven siblings. In his heart, however, he knew that the drugging, drinking and pimping wasn't giving him the lifestyle that God wanted for him.
