Have You Met "The One"?
You've been dating a few different people, but you think you might have met "the one." You:
call all of your other dates and cancel.
cancel your other dates, but keep their numbers.
keep dating the others, to compare.
find out if "the one" wants to stop dating others.
If your new love doesn't return your call for a few days, you:
sit by the phone every night and wait.
call him or her again and leave another message.
assume he or she just got busy and wait.
forget about it and date someone else.
On the third date, you and yours kiss good-night. On the fourth date, you get out of the car without a peck. You think:
"He (she) must have a cold -- that's why we didn't kiss."
"No big deal. The previous kiss will last a while."
"Oh well, I guess I should have initiated the kiss."
"He (she) must have lost interest. It's over."
Then, on the fifth date, you would:
confront them about why there was no kiss last time.
lean in and plant one on 'em this time.
have turned down the fifth date.
just wait and see what happens.
You have a sexually transmitted disease. You tell your new date:
just before you get sexually intimate.
immediately after you've been sexually intimate.
on the first date, to get it over with.
nothing at all unless he or she notices.
You're over at his house and you find a note from an ex saying she wants to get back together. You:
don't say a thing about it.
ask him about the note and the ex.
feel jealous and think he'll go back to the ex.
call the ex and find out exactly what's going on.
