We always knew Naomi Campbell was determined, but over at the week-long party of the rich and famous known as Art Basel Miami Beach, "The Face" coach took rallying to a whole new level. While on crutches from a torn ligament, Naomz threw a second blowout birthday bash for her billionaire boyfriend Vladimir Doronin. And at Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' Star Island mansion no-less. While we don't have pics from the Friday celebration to show (was no one Instagramming? Sheesh), feast your eyes on the British Vogue October 2001 cover shot by Mario Testino and picture the following details in your head.
According to "Page Six," the always resourceful Naomi arrived to the party in a golf cart—chauffeur-driven, we'll assume. The 250-guest strong fete ("intimate") included bold name ragers, Lenny Kravitz, Russell Simmons, Demi Moore, Kim Kardashian and musician/fashion designer Kanye West.
The celebration even prompted Diddy to tell Kanye to not be such a buzzkill for the cameras.
“You always look moody," he told Mr. Kim Kardashian.
As for our girl Naomi, she's always up for a party and won't let a little old injury get in the way. She managed to jet set from Miami up to Brooklyn the very next night to hit up the Rolling Stones concert at Barclays Center. She even took a picture from her VIP seat—here's a view of Mick Jagger when you're supermodel Naomi Campbell.
