'The Face' Primer: Celebrity Stylist Jen Rade (She Works With Angelina!)
As Nigel points out in tomorrow's new episode of "The Face," we're half-way through the competition! So now the stakes are through the roof and the guest stars are bringing it. To judge this week's team competition, celebrity stylist Jen Rade drops in for a high-pressure look book photo shoot challenge. Just so you know, even Ms. Rade's own website refers to herself as "The Wicked Witch of Wardrobe," so the girls—and Coco—better watch out. Maybe they should have gotten a primer on the opinionated stylist, like you're getting now.
Why You Should Know Her: Let's start with this: She's the person responsible for Angelina Jolie's infamous left-leg baring Atelier Versace gown at last year's Academy Awards. Yeah, that one. She's a costume designer and stylist, starting out by styling videos for Dr. Dre and Tupac Shakur, to working with clients like Jada Pinkett Smith, Cher and Katharine McPhee, Pink and Tina Turner. She's done editorial styling for top-notch fashion magazines W and Harper's Bazaar and worked with legendary photographers, like fellow "The Face" guest star Patrick Demarchelier.
Where You May Have Seen Her: On your teevee, perhaps? She's been a talking head on "Styl’d" on MTV, "Confessions of a Teen Idol," "Fashion Police" on E! and "Project Runway." She also has a fashion line on QVC called EDGE by Jen Rade.
