'The Face' Primer: Kyle Ellison, Dishy Male Model
Oh, hello there! Meet Kyle Ellison, the super cute piece of male super model pie who's integral to tomorrow night's test shoot challenge on "The Face." You already know that (recently sidelined) New York Knicks captain Amar'e Stoudemire is stopping by to have a steamy demo sesh with Naomi. Then young Kyle steps in for the girls to get their challenge on. So to get you ready for the brand new episode (airing Tue., Mar. 12 at 9/8c) here's your intro to Kyle and be sure to gaze at the many photos of him, after the jump.
The Face: Tell us about yourself!
Kyle Ellison: I started modeling about 6 years ago in 2008. I spent the first couple years based out of Dallas then moved to NYC and have been there about 2 years now. I have been in campaigns for Toni and Guy and Sean Jean. I have done quite a bit of catalogue work for department stores. I was in a Nerf commercial a few years back.
The Face: How were you cast on “The Face?”
Kyle: I was cast on "The Face" through the Kim Dawson Agency in Dallas, I was living in New York at the time and they happen to be filming the show there. Gerald my agent in Dallas called and asked if I wanted to be on a show with Naomi Campbell and if I could dribble a basketball. I jumped at the chance to be on the show. I was excited to be on the show it is one of my dreams is to become an actor and this was a great opportunity for me. I loved filming and had a great time, everyone was great it was a good experience. It was a little nerve racking to have to follow Naomi Campbell and Amar'e Stoudemire's performance, but when I could see that some of the girls were just as nervous as me it calmed my nerves a bit.
The Face: Have you been on television before? If so, in what?
Kyle: Besides the Nerf commercial, this was my first acting job for tv.
The Face: What was it like being the object of “chemistry” for the seven model contestants?
Kyle: It was a lot of fun being the object of chemistry and to be able to work with all the girls was great for me because I had to connect with everyone. It was interesting to see how everyone works and to go along with what each girl was doing. I just hope I did my part and made the shots turn out well.
The Face: What was your reaction to Sandra planting a kiss (and massive lipstick stain) on your neck?
Kyle: When Sandra kissed me on the neck I was a bit surprised but at least she went for it and wasn't holding back. The way I looked at it was this was a job and sometimes you have to just go for it to try and get the right shot so I just went along with it and tried to make it look as good as possible. I'm excited to see the episode and I know my mom can't wait to see it either. She's the reason I started modeling in the first place so I wouldn't be where I am without her.
Awwww.....Be sure to watch a brand new episode of "The Face" tomorrow night at 9/8c to see more of Kyle! His mom would want you to! Okay, one more pic:
