Danielle reviews the fashion from Episode 6 of Glee.I'll admit it. After this week's episode of Glee, "Never Been Kissed," I was ready to start a campaign to raise donations for Kurt's tuition to Dalton Academy. Who wouldn't want to go to a high school where a cappella groups spontaneously break out into renditions of pop songs in mahogany-paneled gathering rooms? And everyone is accepted for who they are.
Even their uniforms were fabulous. Instead of boring polo shirts paired with wrinkle-free khaki slacks, the guys of Dalton attend classes and impromptu concerts in snazzy navy blazers with red contrast trim, preppy striped ties, and gray dress pants.
Fear not, ladies. You don't have to attend prep school or have a Y chromosome to look this good.
Start with a classic gray pencil skirt. Tuck in a crisp white blouse, and tie a pretty striped scarf around your neck. Step into a pair of classic plaid ballet flats. Then get out there and find yourself the most fabulous blue coat with red piping and accents. Uniforms never looked so good.
You'll probably make a Warbler miss a note or two.
