Can't wait for Glee episodes to air on Oxygen starting October 12? Here's a taste. We're catching up with your favorite contestants from The Glee Project to find out what they've been up to since competing for a shot on Glee! Scroll down to catch up with Season 2's Shanna Henderson, who was eliminated in the ninth round. Yes...she's still singing, and she's got no regrets!
How much has your life changed since being on The Glee Project?
The Glee Project may not have worked out for me to be on Glee, but it did get my foot in the door here in Nashville. I am now able to work towards what I have wanted my entire life. The Glee Project made my dreams become goals and I am working hard to attain my goals.
Where do you currently call home?
I am living in Nashville with my best friend and musical theater dancestress, Emily Rourke...and of course my puppies Oliver and Sophie. Nashville has become my home. I love it.
What project is keeping you busy right now?
Currently, I am working on my music here in Nashville, TN. I am blessed to be working with the best in the country music industry! Recently, I released my first single, A Well, worldwide on iTunes!
If you want to keep up with my upcoming events or want to contact me for an event, head over to my website!
Do you still keep in touch with the other contestants from your season or otherwise?
I do! Abraham has become one of my very best friends, supporters and is simply like a brother to me. I also talk to Aylin, Nellie, Tyler, and Ali often. I love my cast and crew so much.
Looking back are there things you would have done differently during the competition during your season of The Glee Project?
I live without regrets, so no. I wouldn’t change one thing. I loved my time on The Glee Project. I learned form the best in the business, formed a family with my cast and crew, and grew as an actress/songstress but most importantly a person.
If you could choose one current Glee cast member to perform with, who would it be and why?
I would choose Lea. Her honesty on top of her vocals is inspiring. I think we could do one heck of a ballad together.
What was your favorite song or performance from Glee Season 4?
Hands down, Lea's performance of "Being Good Isn't Good Enough." I still remember that moment.
Tune into episodes of 'Glee' on Oxygen, starting October 12!
