I was really excited to finally see the show for the first time. As one of Janice's new models, I am not accustomed to seeing myself on TV, much less the drama of the agency unfold. It was truly interesting, but I feel that the truth of the situation was revealed on Oxygen. I was pumped that I was given this opportunity, so I came in with the best attitude and hope for the future.
The segment where they showed the new models coming in was far more intense that portrayed. The new models were all nervous (myself included) walking into the house. We were all amazed with the grandeur of the agency house. However, when Janice led us down the stairs we immediately felt the negative vibes coming from the old models. It was truly vocalized when Kehoe starting saying negative things about all of us, especially because we were already nervous.
Janice defended us, and then introduced us one by one. Afterwards, we were given a period to chat and mill around and meet the old models. Some were really nice, like JP, Mike, Alexander, and Christian to name a few. Some were acting like total d*cks -- basically Kehoe, Payton, and Danny.
However, when the casting started it was business time. All of the models are attractive, obviously, so I was nervous and self-conscious when it came to showing off our goods to the Nicolita crew. When I was chosen, I was truly elated. All of my doubts were immediately erased, and I felt like this was where I was supposed to be. I mean out of EVERYONE they only chose one guy, and it was me. It felt sooooo good.
I hoped this moment enabled me to get closer to the older JDMA models, as it gave me a sense of legitimacy. Unfortunately, I was met with more jealousy and arrogance than congratulations. It was all-good, because I met a gorgeous girl whom I quickly became entranced with. That girl would be Xian. It was a great episode, and I can’t wait until next week!
