1 Dead, 3 Injured After Shooting At T.I. Concert
One man lost his life at the NYC concert venue, and another popular rapper has been confirmed as a victim.
A T.I. concert took a turn for the worse last night.
One man is left dead after a shooting at Irving Plaza in NYC on Wednesday night. Rapper T.I. was scheduled to perform that night, but at around 10:15 p.m. - during the opening act's performance - shots rang out backstage in the third floor green room area, CNN reports.
Three men and one woman were struck; two were shot in the leg, one in the chest. Another man was shot in the stomach, and later succumbed to his injuries. The rapper Troy Ave has been confirmed as one of the victims shot in the leg and is expected to recover.
TMZ's sources claim that it all started with an argument backstage. However, at this time, it's unclear who's behind the shooting.
Video footage from the scene flooded social media last night.
