50 Cent Got Arrested In The Caribbean For Saying "Motherf***er" During His Performance
There are some things you just can't say in St. Kitt's.
Celebrities get in trouble with the law all the time, usually for things like public drunkenness or maybe even tax evasion, but getting arrested for cursing? Now that's a new one.
Rapper 50 Cent was arrested in St. Kitts in the Caribbean on Saturday night for saying "motherf***er" during a performance. The word is illegal there, and TMZ reports that 50 was advised prior to his performance to watch his language. Apparently though, the DJ backing him up didn't have a clean version of 50's music, and the rapper didn't hesitate to let loose a "motherf***er" or two, right into the mic.
Even though it's a minor offense, 50 was arrested following the performance for using profanity in public, and was released on Monday, after appearing in court and paying a fine.
The rapper's reps told TMZ that, "for future trips to St. Kitts, he will leave the motherf***ers in the United States."
