Are you a drama queen? Just can't live without a little tea being spilled or shade thrown? Now, there's a test for that. Psychologist Scott Frankowski has put together a survey to test for the personality traits that predict the "need for drama."
Frankowski defines the “need for drama,” as a “compound personality trait in which individuals manipulate others from a position of perceived victimization," according to NY Mag. Questions include: "I say or do things just to see how others react" and "Sometimes I play people against each other to get what I want."
I took the test. The results: I have a very high need for drama.
Luckily for me, Frankowski and his colleagues say that their drama scale does not identify pathology or legitimate psycho behavior. “I think, probably, most people know someone like this in their life,” he said. Take the test for yourself here!
