Beyonce reportedly gave birth weeks ago, and while Bey's dad Matthew Knowles wasted no time in reporting the birth on social media, what he didn't spill were the names of the twins. Unfortunately for the couple, Beyonce and Jay Z may have already inadvertently revealed their names prior to the big reveal they probably have planned.
According to trademark documents filed to the United States Patent and Trademark Office last week and obtained by People, Bey and Jay filed papers to trademark the names Rumi Carter and Sir Carter. Their company filed the paperwork around the same time that the twins were reportedly taken home from the hospital.
As TMZ reported, the trademark was filed by the same company that's fighting to trademark the name Blue Ivy, and will reportedly cover things like fragrances, cosmetics, key chains, teething rings, tote bags, rattles, and other novelty items.
