Chrissy Teigen and James Corden Defend Kim K From Haters After Paris Robbery
People are being seriously messed up about Kim K's traumatic experience.
Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint late last night/early this morning. Two men dressed as police officers used tape to bind her hands and feet and locked her in the bathroom before making off with millions worth of jewelry. Kim K was unharmed, but quickly left Paris after the harrowing ordeal.
It sounds like a truly awful, traumatizing experience, but that didn't stop Kardashian haters from making light of the situation on Twitter. Trolls jumped on the story, mocking Kim and saying that she deserved it; some even went as far as implying that they wish the robbers had physically harmed her.
Whether you're a Kardashian fan or not, that's pretty messed up, which is why Chrissy Teigen and James Corden stepped in to tell the haters to step off.
"People making jokes about @KimKardashian tonight would do well to remember that she's a mother, a daughter, a wife, a friend," he wrote. "Be nice or shut up."
Kim's good friend Chrissy Teigen also chimed in, sharing her thoughts on the situation via a series of tweets.
"Some s**t isn't funny," she wrote. "I see you trying, but it isn't."
"Fame is interesting," she continued. "Celebs are supposed to love you guys while also knowing you'd make a meme of our dead bodies to get retweets."
Noted Kardashian hater Piers Morgan also offered his support.
Kim has yet to reappear on any of her social media accounts following the incident.
