More court drama for Future. Things may seem like they're calming down somewhat between the rapper and his most recent ex, Ciara, but Future can expect to spend a lot more time in court rooms in the near future.
Jessica Smith - one of the rapper's exes, and mother of his oldest son - is suing him for an increase in child support. According to The Jasmine Brand, Smith first filed a suit against Future back in 2013, accusing him of lying about his monthly income in order to keep his child support payments low. Future claimed he only pulled in $16,000 a month, while Smith argued that it was well over 50k. They eventually settled out of court, with Future agreeing to pay $2,800 a month (an increase from the $1,662 she was previously receiving).
Now, Smith is taking Future back to court and asking the judge for an increase in child support based on Future's current income. She's also accusing him of neglecting their son, citing Future's lack of a relationship with the child as the cause of their son's emotional and behavioral issues. She alleges that he needs behavioral and clinical therapy, and it all stems from the emotional trauma Future is causing.
Smith's other concerns include the negative effect exposure to Future's lifestyle is having on their son, and his performance in school; Smith says their son is underperforming, and is in need of tutoring.
Smith wants her court fees to be paid by Future, who has yet to respond to any of her allegations.
