Did Dr. Luke Bar Kesha From Performing At The Billboard Music Awards?

Kesha's career continues to be marked with legal battles and strife. After she was announced as a performer at the upcoming Billboard awards, it was reported that her producer and alleged abuser Dr. Luke, under who she is contractually obligated to obey, was attempting to block the "Tik Tok" singer from appearing at the show at all.
TMZ reported that Dr. Luke became aware that Kesha's performance would be a statement about her struggles against him. Although Kesha is legally allowed to perform covers of other artists' music, Luke seemed to be attempting to keep Kesha from being seen at all.

From the post, it's unclear as to how exactly the situation broke down, although it doesn't sound like Kesha had much choice in the matter.
