Selena Gomez shocked the h*ll out of her fanbase when she suddenly made her Instagram page private on Tuesday.
Why'd she do it? She didn't come right out and explain her actions, but a cryptic post that went live right before the switch may tell fans everything they're dying to know. According to E! News, prior to making the change, the singer posted a screenshot of her recent Billboard profile, writing, "Never will I let another human guess my words ever again. Or invite them into my home. That is so hurtful. The most 'ridiculous' part of that is no one knowing my heart when I say things."
The particular part of the article Gomez shared reads as follows: "There's a five-foot teddy bear sprawled across the kitchen floor in Selena Gomez's North Hollywood home. 'I know, I know,' says Gomez, rolling her eyes, acknowledging that the stuffed animal doesn't quite blend with the trio of armchairs nestled in the inviting, marble-accented nook. 'It was a gift, and at first I thought, This is so ridiculous, I can't wait until I give it away to another person.' But Gomez, 25, hasn't let go of it — yet."
Gomez must not have been too happy about the teddy bear mention — perhaps it was a gift from someone very dear to her (whose name rhymes with Bustin Jieber), and her candid comments about it caused some tension in her personal life? That seems to be a popular fan theory, anyway.
Whatever happened, Gomez must be over it at this point, because her Instagram's gone public again; her post thanking Billboard for naming her "Woman of the Year" hasn't gone anywhere either.
