Following the success of Straight Outta Compton, Dr. Dre is setting his sights on conquering the small screen. The rap legend is set to both star in and executive produce Vital Signs, Apple's first scripted television series.
Not much is known about the six-episode series so far. The Hollywood Reporter's sources describe it as "semi-autobiographical, with each episode focusing on a different emotion and how Dre’s character deals with it." It's also been described as a "dark drama," with plenty of violence and sex.
Also? There's an orgy scene at some point, and they've already filmed it.
Though there's no release date set yet, Vital Signs will most likely be distributed via Apple Music and follow the Netflix model by releasing the entire season at once.
