Even Artwork Of Kim Kardashian Gets Slut Shamed

“It was a given, considering the subject matter," said the artist.

At this point, it is sadly expected that Kim Kardashian would be called a slut for posting a nude selfie on Instagram. Despite Kim (and a handful of other celebrities) making reasonable arguments as to why the public dissemination of images of her body is in no way objectionable, said images continue to draw ire from a plethora of sources. The latest instance of this? A 30-foot tall mural of the selfie-seen-round-the-world was nastily vandalized only 48 hours after it's completion.

Artist Lush Sux created the mural as a response to the negative comments made by celebs like  Chloë Grace MoretzBette MidlerPink, and Jeremy Renner.

The artwork quickly gained some favorable attention when at least one proud woman decided to derobe and pose in front of it:

But the celebration of the female body didn't last long. Here's what the piece looked like after being desecrated:

“It was a given, considering the subject matter,” said Lush Sux on the incident. “I’m bummed that people didn’t get more of a chance to interact with it and that someone felt the dire need to spray ‘slut’ across it.”

“If they [the public] get a laugh out of it, it’s worth doing," added the artist. "I’m not trying to stop global warming single-handedly or fight our ‘evil corporate overlords’ or something — it’s just some fun.”
