Bigots gotta bigot: it seems that a former Kardashian bodyguard has changed his name to Bruce Jenner to call attention to his disapproval of Caitlyn Jenner's transition. Stating that he simply wants to "keep [the name] alive" the man formerly known as Mark Behar claims that he's not a homophobe, although his rhetoric around the name change certainly seems to suggest otherwise.
“This name once stood for America, and I just want to keep it alive," said the newly minted Jenner. “I’ve been seeing so many idols and athletes and icons die because of stupid stuff like drugs, die because of age… We’re losing icons. We’re losing names. We’re losing people faster than we ever have.”
“I am not anti-gay ... but the way he [sic] did it, in my mind it was not proper. It was all for hype.”
According to Pink News, Neo-Bruce worked for the Kardashians from 2009 until 2010, even appearing in an episode of their notorious reality show. Investigation into his public Facebook page revealed some strange details, including his habit of posting fake news stories and explicit image macros about Caitlyn and her clan.
Despite essentially accusing Caitlyn of fame-whoring, Bruce (not Caitlyn) Jenner is now being represented-- for what, is unclear-- by Tom Madden for the TransMedia Group. Madden said this about his client:
"We’re representing Mark who is now legally Bruce so the famous Bruce Jenner name will return to its heterosexual roots where our client believes it belongs, instead of hanging around out with the likes of the Kardashians and getting into car accidents as Caitlyn.”
Needless to say: this is all very confusing and this guy seems like a jerk.
