Former Miss Arizona Says Donald Trump Was A Total Creep At Miss USA
Beauty queen says Donald Trump "just came strolling right in" on naked contestants.
Donald Trump is getting slammed again for his misogynistic and vile treatment of women. Following his jokes about sexual assault, the Republican Presidential nominee is being called out for being totally creepy when he ran the Miss USA pageant, even walking in on contestants changing.
“Our first introduction to him was when we were at the dress rehearsal and half naked changing into our bikinis,” former Miss Arizona, Tasha Dixon, tells the CBS affiliate in Los Angeles. “He just came strolling right in. There was no second to put a robe on or any sort of clothing or anything. Some girls were topless. Other girls were naked.”
She says that she felt awkward and vulnerable, but there was no one to complain to. “I’m telling you Donald Trump owned the pageant for the reasons to utilize his power to get around beautiful women. Who do you complain to? He owns the pageant. There’s no one to complain to. Everyone there works for him.”
Trump himself admitted to this gross behavior, including "inspecting" women like objects on Howard Stern's radio show in a 2001 interview. “I’ll go backstage before a show, and everyone’s getting dressed and ready and everything else,” he said, per The Washington Post. “And you know, no men are anywhere. And I’m allowed to go in because I’m the owner of the pageant. And therefore I’m inspecting it.”
Trump owned the Miss USA pageant for 19 years, along with the Miss Universe and Miss Teen USA competitions.
