'Glee' Star Arrested For Possession Of Child Pornography
Over 1,000 inappropriate images were found on the actor's computer.
Mark Salling, known for his role as "Puck" on the hit show Glee, was arrested for possession of child pornography yesterday. Early Tuesday morning, the Los Angeles Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Unit served a search warrant at the actor's residence in Sunland, California, Crime Watch Daily reports.
According to TMZ, Salling's ex-girlfriend tipped off the authorities, who then found more than a thousand images of "child sexual exploitation" on the actor's computer. The children in question were "significantly younger" than 15 and 16 year olds.
Salling posted bail later that day, and his court date has been set for Jan. 22, 2016.
This isn't Salling's first bad brush with the law, either: in 2010, he was accused of sexual battery by an ex-girlfriend and, after denying the charge, was ordered to pay $2.7 million.
