The Jenner girls aren't having the best luck with their ad campaigns these days. First, Kendall Jenner's Pepsi commercial managed to enrage just about everyone with internet access, and now Kylie Jenner's latest brand partnership is attracting backlash of its own.
Kylie first partnered with Puma ages ago, but it's her latest ad for the brand that's under fire. The photos feature the reality TV star running in her Puma gear, and everything from her form to the fact that she was even chosen for the gig in the first place is pissing off actual athletes.
"Did we run out of deserving ATHLETES to select to represent a sports brand? Those that put in the REAL work and actually have athletic prowess? Major disappointment," one commenter wrote, while another chimed in, writing, "All the amazing athletes you could have had model this line and you choose a girl whose only 'training' she does is wearing a waist trainer."
"How many athletes did you guys go through to make you decide that Kylie Jenner would be the best endorser for your product?" another Instagram user wrote. "Why not use a woman that young athletes can actually look up to when it comes to sports? Why not a well known softball player or heck just like any professional athlete in the world?"
Others sounded off via Twitter.
The response wasn't all negative, though. Fans spoke up on behalf of Kylie in the comments, writing, "Beautiful," "Omg goal," and "Nice work, Puma!"
"Why y'all never give this girl credit? Maybe it's just the angle. Y'all so quick to say something negative," a fan wrote in response to criticism of how Kylie's legs looked in the photo.
Puma has yet to respond to the controversy. You can take a look at Kylie's polarizing photos below.
