Is This Tina Knowles Lawson's Response To Tomi Lahren Bashing Beyonce?

Lahren recently called Beyonce "police-hating."

Beyonce and Jay Z: Through the Years

A look back at Beyonce and Jay Z's cutest moments through the years.

The Beyhive aren't the only ones who seem miffed about Tomi Lahren's recent Beyonce comments.

The always-controversial Fox News contributor drew the full ire of the Beyhive earlier this week after she posted a photo of Beyonce presenting former San Francisco 49er/activist Colin Kaepernick with Sports Illustrated's Muhammad Ali Legacy Award and called them both "police-hating."

Naturally, the Beyhive went in on Lahren for her comments, and it looks like Beyonce's mom, Tina Knowles Lawson, has something to say about it too. She started off by posting the same photo of Beyonce and Colin, and included a quote from Beyonce's speech that night.

"We're still waiting for the world to catch up. It's been said that racism is so American that when we protest racism, some assume we're protesting America," reads the quote. "So, let's be very clear. Colin has always been very respectful of the individuals who selflessly serve and protect our country and our communities and our families. His message is solely focused on social injustice for historically disenfranchised people. Let's not get that mistaken."

Tina applauded her daughter in the caption, writing, "Wow what a powerful statement !! Thank you Beyonce for being brave enough to say what many of us are thinking!!! Translates to me as : when you protest injustice and racism & put a spotlight on it that means that you are being 'Un American' or disrespectful to our country! What does that say about this Country?"

"Our current administration would have you believe that the protest was protesting the flag and the national anthem!! Wrong!!!" she continued. "There is no mention of the purpose of his protest which was the killing of innocent unarmed black men and racism in this country. The constant smokeScreens and deflecting that's done every day is laughable! That is the game that they play with us every day about everything. They would have you believe that this is about people disrespecting the flag or disrespecting our soldiers. What bullsh*t?"

"It's very interesting that in Beyonce speech She makes it crystal clear that Mr. Kaepernick nor anyone else was disrespecting our soldiers or All police officers, who protect us every day and we have the utmost respect for," she added.

Clearly, Tina isn't here for anyone branding her daughter as "police-hating." You can check out her full statement below.
