Jada Pinkett Smith isn't a fan of the recently released Tupac Shakur biopic, "All Eyez On Me."
Smith was close friends with the late rapper, and in a Facebook post today, called the film's portrayal of her relationship with Pac "deeply hurtful."
"Forgive me... my relationship to Pac is too precious to me for the scenes in All Eyez On Me to stand as truth," Smith began, before listing off the various inaccuracies in the film.
"Pac never read me that poem. I didn't know that poem existed until it was printed in his book," she wrote. "Pac never said goodbye to me before leaving for LA. He had to leave abruptly and it wasn't to pursue his career. I've never been to any of Pac's shows by his request. We never had an argument backstage."
She went on to call the "reimagining" of her relationship with Tupac "deeply hurtful," but she made it clear that she doesn't cast any blame on the actors who portrayed her and Pac in the movie.
"To Kat [Graham] and Demetrius [Shipp Jr.] this is no fault of yours," she explained. "Thank you for bringing so much heart and spirit to your roles. You both did a beautiful job with what you were given. Thank you both."
She concluded her post with a heartfelt birthday message for her late friend, who would have turned 46 today. Take a look below.
