Justin Bieber's Charging $2K Per Selfie, And Beliebers Aren't Happy
You can do a lot with $2,000. Pay rent. Buy a ton of stuff from the new Balmain for H&M collection. Or, you can get a selfie with Justin Bieber. That’s right. Getting a photo with one of the most famous pop stars in the world will set you back a cool two grand.
Justin is offering the expensive selfie as part of his Ultimate V.I.P. package for his Purpose World Tour. Here’s what you get: one ticket in the #GetCloser section (which is apparently “closest to Justin!”), one selfie, a backstage tour and merchandise including a personalized, engraved plaque. If you want to save a $1075, try the "I'll Show You" bundle for $925. You won’t get a selfie but you get a group photo—minimum of four to six people per group--and you can probably crop out all the others to create your own selfie.
Justin’s fans—many of them teenagers—were understandably heartbroken by the pricing for millionaires. Using the #justiceforbrokeliebers hashtag, they took to social media to share their hormone-filled angst with song lyrics and sad photos.
