Kanye Cried Onstage When A Fan Honored His Mom On A T-Shirt
Kanye calls out a fan and sings to her during his Saint Pablo Tour.
With all the social media controversy we're accustomed to Kanye West creating, it's easy to forget that he's actually a super talented and inspirational person to many. He also suffered a few of the hardest years of his life pre-Kardashian-era, including the loss of his best friend, his mother Donda West.
In an unexpected moment during his Saint Pablo Tour in Miami, Kanye became choked up thanks to a fan.
While standing on his one-of-a-kind floating stage above his ground floor fans, he noticed a woman in the crowd. “You don't know how much you inspired me tonight," Kanye said. "And I mean that specific for the girl in the ‘In loving memory of’ [T-shirt] with the ‘Runaway’ tattoo right here. You literally brought tears to my eyes.”
Before moving up closer to the edge of his stage, Kanye asks "Sweetheart, what's your name?" After the crowd yells back “Krystal" (so he can hear), Kanye began to serenade her.
Here's the famous tattoo he somehow spotted from all the way up there (20/20 much, 'Ye?)
Fans documented the moment in this video below:
On Krystal's Instagram, she recalls the moment as "truly a dream come true."
It looks like the moment was special for both of them. How can you not feel good after seeing that?
