Kevin Hart's L.A. Home Was Robbed, $500,000 Worth Of Items Are Gone
Half a million in clothes and jewelry was stolen.
Comedian Kevin Hart may not feel like laughing these days. According to the Daily News, Hart's Los Angeles home was hit by thieves while he was visiting Miami. The criminals made off with $500,000 worth of jewelry, clothing, and other items.
Hart, who was not present at the time of the robbery, called authorities after he returned home on Monday afternoon; police estimate that the actual robbery took place the previous Friday, between 10 and 11 p.m.
According to TMZ, the robbers gained entry into his home by prying open the back door. Hart lives with his fiancée, Eniko Parish, and two children, 11 year-old Heaven and 9 year-old Hendrix, in a community with two security gates. No one in the family was at home when the house was burglarized, and police hope to find a lead from the surveillance footage captured both outside and inside of the home.
