Kylie Jenner is really, really into two things: having big lips and social media.
In an interview for VIOLET GREY's "Woman Made" series, the youngest Jenner got super candid about everything from her lip filler habit to her dependence on social media, E! News reports.
"Social media is everything to me," she revealed. "It can also be a negative space for celebrities. But what would we do without it?"
Probably not be as famous, to be honest. But social media isn't the only key ingredient to Kylie's fame — her trademark look is a big part of it. When it comes to Kylie's lips, it turns out that she'd always wanted them to be bigger.
"I was obsessed with lips, in general, and making my lips bigger before I got my lips injected," Kylie said. Kris Jenner, who was present for the interview, chimed in, saying, "She was probably 17, she wasn't even an adult yet, but she knew what she wanted, and she knew exactly what it was going to look like."
Is it just me, or is that kind of a weird statement? Like, that wouldn't be a normal thing to say if you weren't a Kardashian, but Kris Jenner is so used to being Kris Jenner that bragging about her teenage daughter being super into plastic surgery at a young age doesn't even sound weird to her.
Kylie went on to explain that not only has she always been obsessed with lips, but she knew she wanted to create Kylie Cosmetics for a long time.
"I always knew I wanted to create my own lipstick," she explained. "I said, 'We need to trademark Kylie Lip Kit' — that was what I wanted to call it."
"Usually, when girls do their lipstick, they use a lip liner and a lipstick, and they never have a match," she continued. "So I just created a perfect match, because that's what I've always wanted."
When it comes to whether or not Kylie is ever going to step down from running her company, the answer is a clear no: "I'm obsessed. I couldn't imagine anyone else taking over Kylie Cosmetics."
