Kylie Jenner’s definitely been influencing millennials of the beauty world as of late, but is it getting to her head? That’s literally the only excuse I can fathom to understand her latest claim in Marie Claire’s Fresh Faces issue.
In the teaser for the May 2016 mag, they published three Q&A’s with the lip mogul, and this one in particular is the spark of all the controversy: "I started wigs, and now everyone is wearing wigs. Kim [Kardashian] just used my wig guy last night...I just do whatever I want to do, and people will follow."
Oh? Sounds pretty delusional until you remember the young entrepreneur is only 18 years old. It's a pretty straight-forward case of Columbusing, and the Internet has been letting her have it! Not only have wigs been around for centuries, they’ve been present in recent popular culture for the many decades. Marilyn Monroe, Tina Turner, and Cher don't even begin to cover it!
