LeBron James is done with Charles Barkley. Following the Cleveland Cavaliers' loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Monday, the basketball superstar is fed up with Barkley's ongoing criticism, calling him a "hater" and questioning his judgment. “What makes what he says credible? Because he’s on TV?”
According to ESPN, the comments come after years of Barkley's jabs on TNT's Inside the NBA. He's often taunted James as "whiny" and claimed he'll never be one of the top basketball players of all time.
"I'm not going to let him disrespect my legacy like that," James tells ESPN. "I'm not the one who threw somebody through a window. I never spit on a kid. I never had unpaid debt in Las Vegas. I never said, 'I'm not a role model.' I never showed up to All-Star Weekend on Sunday because I was in Vegas all weekend partying."
The internet went crazy over James' dragging:
Since then, Barkley has laughed off the criticism against him. "I stick by what I said, I'm not going to make this personal. ... He was all whiny last week," Barkley shared on the Waddle & Silvy show on ESPN Radio yesterday. "I'm good and I'm straightforward, I'm never going to get personal on an NBA player."
