Lil Wayne Confuses Fans With Comment, Storms Off Stage Mid-Concert (VIDEO)
The rapper was scheduled to perform for an hour but only did a few songs before leaving abruptly.
If you go to a Lil Wayne concert, make sure you bring the energy, or else the rapper just might decide you aren't worth his time.
On Saturday night, Lil Wayne was scheduled to perform an hour-long set at the Medical Cannabis Concentrates Cup in San Bernardino, California. Well, Rolling Stone reports that Weezy cut out after just ten minutes.
He performed only a few songs before he allegedly looked to the side of the stage and said, "Don't you ever call me to do this s**t again. Don't you, ever, ever, ever, ask me to do this s**t again." He then abruptly left the stage midway through the next song.
High Times hosted the festival, and expressed their confusion via a public statement.
"We have no idea why, after a stellar performance by B.o.B, Lil Wayne suddenly ended his performance after just four songs when he was contractually committed to performing for an hour for the fans," reads the statement. "We are truly baffled by why Lil Wayne would do this in front of thousands of Cannabis Cup attendees – in total disregard for his fans – and are awaiting an explanation from his team."
Wayne hasn't responded publicly, but many who were in attendance report that the rapper wasn't pleased with the level of energy the audience was giving him. Watch Weezy drop the mic and walk off stage in the video below.
