Mack Wilds Breaks Adele's Heart In 'Hello'
Singer's first song in three years features a familiar face.
Adele released her new music video for "Hello"—her first in three years—and hello, is that a familiar face we spy? That’s right Sisterhood of Hip-Hop fans. Adele’s male lead is played by none other than singer/actor Mack Wilds (a.k.a. Tristan Wilds) or Nyemiah Supreme's ex-man.
In “Hello,” Adele reminisces about her long lost love and the beautiful times they had together. From cooking spaghetti to flirting while wearing sweaters, Mack is the perfect boyfriend in the black-and-white clip. Well, until he’s not.
This season on Sisterhood of Hip-Hop, Nyemiah Supreme and Mack (who you also might remember from The Wire) enjoyed a short-lived romance until distance tore them apart. In a particularly emotionally episode, he broke up with her on the phone. How ironic.
Adele’s “Hello” is from her forthcoming album 25. “25 is about getting to know who I’ve become without realizing," she shared in a note to her fans. It's been four years since the singer gave us the breakup soundtrack of our lives with 21. Since then, she's found love and become a mom. She explains about the delay: "And I'm sorry it took so long, but you know, life happened."
