Marrying The Right (Or Wrong) Person Can Make You More (Or Less) Successful
Read this now, before you put a ring on it.
Who you marry is a big decision and affects every part of your life-- that includes success. Scientists have proven that selecting the right partner can actually make you more successful.
According to Inc, researchers at Washington University in St. Louis found that people with relatively careful and reliable partners tend to perform better at work, including getting more promotions, making more money, and feeling more satisfied with their jobs. "Partner conscientiousness" predicts your future job happiness and increased salary. These so-called "conscientious" partners serve as support systems. They're likely to help with household chores, exhibit "more pragmatic behaviors" and promote a more satisfying home life, all of which helps you focus at work.
On the other hand, marrying a partner who's messy, disorganized, and/or has negative habits will probably rub off on you as well. Bird of a feather...
Something to think about before you put a ring on it.
